Deductions for the Self-employed

If you can answer YES to the following questions; the Federal tax law has a method for you to 100% deduct medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as other out of pocket medical costs from your taxable income and also reduce the Self-employment tax as well. The national average net saving has been estimated to be $1,800 or more per year. (My clients' savings are over $3,500.) Note: If you also collect Social Security the tax savings can be even more dramatic.

  1. Are you Self employed ?
  2. Are you married and file Married Filing Joint (MFJ) ?
  3. Do you have 2 or less employees (You and your spouse are not included) ?
  4. Do you have annual medical costs (Insurance, Doctors, Pharmaceuticals, Lab fees, etc) in excess of $7,000?
  5. Do you have Adjusted Gross Income of over $40,000 (more produces somewhat higher savings) ?
I beat the IRS
"I beat the IRS!"

If you answered YES to all above then a program can be set up that will save you over $1,800 per year; and its legal. It's in the tax law.

I have successfully representated tax clients before the IRS that took advantage of this special provision. The IRS questioned this medical deduction issue and PASSED on it with a NO CHANGE audit.  CONTACT:
